His debut song, Kolaveri Di, saw success of kind no other song has ever witnessed before. Dhanush rose to dizzy heights of fame, making him an overnight star. Now as is obvious, he plans to set his foot on Bollywood ground. He has been signed by director, Anand L Rai, for his debut movie, “Raanjhanaa”.
The movie will see, veteran of many a shows, Urmila Sharma, playing his mother’s role. Urmila Sharma, who is currently doing the popular ‘Star Plus’ show, “Diya Aur Bati Hum”, has acted in several shows in the past. Prominent among them are, “Balika Vadhu” and “Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha”.
Urmila seems excited about having got a chance to share screen space with successful star like Dhanush. She will be shown playing the character of a loving and caring Brahmin mother to him. Shooting with Dhanush was a wonderful experience in itself for Urmila Sharma.
