It is time for the longest running show, “Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya”, to call it a day. The show, a joint venture of Spellbound and Walkwater Productions, is well past its prime. Though the final call about pulling out the show is yet to be taken, the buzz about the show coming to an end in September mid is being floating around.
The new show likely to replace “Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya”, will be “Sooli Upar Sej Piya Ki”, produced by Beyond Dreams. The subject of the new show deals with the life of orphans and it is being shot at the outdoor locations of Punjab.
There is still a lot of confusion as far as “Pratigya”, going off air, is concerned. The rumors about the show being pulled out are strongly negated by its producer, Pearl Grey. On the other hand, Yash Patnaik, the producer of the new show, is uncertain about its launch date and the time slot allotted by the channel.
Now it is for ‘Star Plus’ to take the call of whether to end “Pratigya” or shift it to another time slot.
