Rohit Khurana signed for Shashi-Sumeet Mittal’s new show

Rohit Khurana, of “Uttaran” fame, has been signed to play the main lead, along with Sargun Mehta, by Shashi–Sumeet Mittal Productions, for their new show on ‘Star Plus’. The show as informed earlier is based on the popular fairy tale, “Beauty and The Beast”.

While Sargun enacts the role of the beauty, Rohit will essay the role of the beast. In the past too, Rohit has portrayed different roles on the small screen. This role too has been taken up by him as a challenge, as it has a touch of grey shades to the character. The excitement of playing the role was very much evident by Rohit’s talk.

Rohit is happy to be working for the production house, Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Productions, which has a formed, a good reputation over a period of time, for producing some good shows in the past.

He feels that one has to be lucky enough to get good roles on television, show after show. He will start shooting for his new show by mid September.
