To complete a run of 200 episodes of a show having only reference point of only a common man and his day to day struggle to survive is no mean feat to achieve.
But producer, JD Majethia, of Hats off Productions, has just managed to achieve the same. His show, on ‘SAB TV’, “RK Laxman Ki Duniya” has clicked with the audiences and with today’s episode, it completes a count of 200.
The serial is based on the story of a common man, made popular by the famous cartoonist, R K Laxman. He is shown as an idealistic middle class person, a stickler of principles and having high values. To base an entire show on this subject and sustain the same for such a long period was not a easy task for the producers.
Every episode apart from tackling the day to day issues affecting the common man, such as the petrol hike, inflation, traveling woes and other such things, has to be shown in an entertaining manner without sounding boring and repetitive.
But the audiences seem to have connected with the show, relating with their own daily problems. Here’s wishing the show to complete 2000 episodes.
