The only thing missing till now from her portfolio was her appearance on the big silver screen. Bharti Singh has managed to complete the list by signing her first Bollywood movie. She will soon be seen playing an important role in, Akshay-Asin starrer, “Khiladi 786”.
The movie is being produced jointly by, Akshay Kumar and Himesh Reshammiya and the direction is being helmed by debutant director, Ashish Mohan. Ashish has earlier worked with Rohit Shetty as a assistant director for his movie, “Golmaal”. The movie is due for release by the end of this year.
Bharti’s plays a mix of Punjabi and Marathi character in the movie. Her co star is the famous comedian, Johny Lever, who plays an important part in the movie. Bharti is hopeful of being appreciated by the viewers for her first venture into Bollywood.
She has already earned a name for herself on the small screen, earlier as a stand-up comedian and recently as a dancer on the dance reality show “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5”.
