Neha Sargam, entered the television scene, as a contestant in Sony TV’s show “Indian Idol”, but there was one person who is responsible for her foray into acting. He is, Rajan Shahi of Director’s Kut Productions. She started her acting journey with, Rajan, in his serial, “Chand Chupa Badal Mein”, and after that she went on to act in shows like, “Punar Vivah” and “Haar Jeet”.
Neha Sargam discusses each and every project details with Rajan Shahi, whom she considers as her mentor. That is reason why she had to publicly apologize to Rajan, about not being able to inform him about her selection for the role of, Sita, in “Ramayan”.
But Neha had her own reason for not doing so, as she was advised by the production house, not to talk about her role with anybody. She also knows that Rajan must be aware of the news of her doing the show, through other sources.
However now she wants to make amends and make a call to him personally at the first available opportunity. She is hoping that Rajan does not harbor any hard feelings for her.
