Few days back, it was reported that “Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna” by Creative Eyes on ‘Sahara One’ is ready to take a twenty to twenty three year leap. It is seen in the show that the role of Sonali, the female lead, will be played by Amrapali Gupta. However, after the jump sequence, Sonali along with her entire family would die in an accident.
Just as the death plot is nearing, the creative heads have plans of bringing in a new face, for playing the role of a female lead after leap. It is learnt that the makers have approached Deblina Chatterjee, for playing the role. She was last seen in the ‘Star Plus’ show, “Sajda Tere Pyaar”. There are high chances of her taking up this role.
As per FilmiTown.com sources, Deblina has been finalized by the production house, after lot of searching. However, a new development is seen as well. It is heard that Akshay Sethi, who was finalized for playing the lead is no longer a part of this project. Thus, the search for a male lead will begin as well.
The leap would be taking place on the 3rd of September 2012.
