Another small screen actress makes it to the big screen of Bollywood. The lucky one is none other than, Leena Jumani, of “Kairi” and “Punar Vivah” fame. She has been signed by producer, Vashu Bhagnani, for his movie, “Himmatwala”, featuring Ajay Devgn in the lead, and to be directed by, Sajid Khan.
The movie is a remake of old classic, Jeetendra-Sridevi hit, of the same name. Leena will essay the role of, Ajay Devgn’s screen sister. The muhurat of the movie was performed at the Ramoji Filmcity, Hyderabad, on August 22nd, 2012, amidst much fanfare. Leena was also present at the occasion along with the other cast members.
Fans of the actress will be eagerly waiting for her debut movie, to see her perform on the big screen. As far as small screen is concerned, Leena has already proved her mettle with shows like, “Punar Vivah” and “Kairi”, both from the house of, Shashi-Sumeet Productions Pvt Ltd.
