Gaurav Chopra’s lure for Bollywood made him quit the ‘Colors’ show “Uttaran”, the very serial that gave him immense popularity for his role as Raghuvendra Pratap Rathore. Now since his Bollywood movie “Rangdari” is complete and will soon hit the screens, Gaurav is once again having second thoughts about making a comeback to the show “Uttaran”.
Gaurav’s second Bollywood venture “Lucky Kabootars”, is due to go on the sets soon. But before that he is likely to do a cameo for his show. Since he was hesitant to play a father of an 18 year old, the producer, Rupali Shah, was very much accommodating on that matter. Also she was fine with letting him free for shooting of his second film.
Hence Gaurav’s character of, Raghuvendra Rathore, will be projected in somewhat different way, in the show. His style of interacting with people will be different to what it was previously, before his quitting the show. He will be shown lending his support to, Ichcha, to meet up with, Meethi.
There are glaring similarities between, Gaurav’s, entry on the show, now and previously. It was the same month of August in the year 2010, when he had entered the show, his role being as cameo lasting for 10 days, and now also the history is being repeated once again, with only the year changing, month and the duration of the role remaining the same.
