Besides acting, Kunal Kumar has various roles to play in the field of entertainment. He played the role of Balu, on the ‘SAB TV’ show “Gutur Gu”. He is a director, cinematographer and an entrepreneur all rolled into one. His company, I Wish Foundation, is into ad making, which he directs most of the time.
Compared to all the jobs, direction is his all time favorite. The challenge of making things, living as well as non-living, emote, is what gives him a high. To project a non-living thing to the viewers and simultaneously making the viewers accept the concept, is quite a challenging job.
Recently, Kunal got a project for directing an ad film for a jewelry brand, which is in the form of a print ad. He has no models at his disposal but only the product. It is an exclusive collection of jewelry, belonging to the Mughal Era. The jewelry is supposed to be worn at an IIJW event, taking place on August 20, 2012, by the different models. Dipti and Amisha have designed these rare collections.
