It has been announced by IBF or the Indian Broadcasting Foundation that a 2 day Indian Television Festival will be launched and held in the month of November in Goa. The festival would be held between the 2nd and 3rd of November and will feature various key-note sessions, interactive seminar, content, service pavilions, business services technology, sporting activities and performances.
According to Uday Shankar, the president of Indian Broadcasting Foundation, this is not merely a festival but is an opportunity for the global and Indian broadcasters for growing in the fastest growing market. Currently, 140 million homes are reached and this event is definitely a good platform for looking at opportunities for the augmentation of this industry.
The core committee members of the festival are Monica Tata, Keertan Adyanthaya, Lydia Buthello and Sunil Lulla. The key members of the television industry of the country will attend this festival.
