Aarti Singh cool about playing mother’s role

There are many cases and examples in the past where the actor/actress has quit the show due to the reasons of not being comfortable in playing a character older to their real age. They prefer quitting the show, rather than playing parents to the actors who are almost of the same age as them.

But one actress, who is different from the lot and has no issues playing the role of a teenager’s mother, is Aarti Singh. After the time leap of eight years on the show “Parichay”, Aarti, playing the role of Seema, will be shown having teenage kids. Aarti says that, she is absolutely comfortable playing the role of the mother.

Initially, there were some doubts in her mind regarding playing the role, but when she saw that when, Shweta Tiwari, could play a grandmother to a 26 year old in “Kasauti Zindagi Ki”, and Ankita Lokhande, playing mother in “Pavitra Rishta”, to kids who were of similar age as her, all her doubts were laid to rest.
