The festival of Raksha Bandhan symbolizes the bond between brothers and sisters, where brothers promise their unconditional support to their sisters, all through their life. But the ladies of Gokuldham Society came out with a unique concept of celebrating the Rakhi festival this time. The SAB TV show “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah” will show all the ladies of the society celebrating Raksha Bandhan by tying rakhi to traffic police men.
There is nothing surprising about the same, as people are aware of school kids and ladies sending rakhi to the jawans on the border. But the Gokuldham ladies have gone a step ahead, and will be shown tying rakhi to the local trains of Mumbai and the Fire brigade trucks, which is surprising and unique in itself.
Their justification towards their action is that these basic services are very much useful to the common man in his day to day life, hence the need to respect them. The police men and the fire brigade services take care of the people just like elder brothers in the family. Local trains connect the people from all over the city and are helpful to the people in reaching their destinations. Their contribution towards the society is pure and selfless, just like their brothers.
