Chandramukhi Chautala aka Kavita Kaushik, who plays the role of an Inspector on SAB TV’s ‘FIR’, finds herself in a tough situation. Allegations are made by various people about how they are being looted by Chandramukhi and her constable, Gopi, and that includes the Police Commissioner, himself. She fails to understand the mystery behind the same.
After investigation she comes to know the truth that there are two lookalikes of herself and Gopi, who are taking advantage of their looks, and going around in the city, fooling the people. The lookalikes, Zeenat and Balu, even dare to kidnap the real Chandramukhi and Gopi, and place themselves at Imaan Chowki police station, leading to chaos and hilarious situations.
How the real Chandramukhi proves her innocence and brings the culprits to book forms the crux of the story. Having experimented with her looks previously, it was a challenge for Kavita Kaushik to portray the double role, which she thoroughly enjoyed in doing so. Viewers will be reminded of the famous hit movie ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’.
