Delhi girl, Deepika Singh recently visited her home city. The protagonist of ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ was in the city for a shoot.
Deepika received a grand welcome to the city. Deepika is overwhelmed to see the love that people of her home town showered on her. She says that she was a simple Delhi girl, doing theater in the city. She had never thought that she would be able to get such a big role in a mainstream TV serial. Before entering the entertainment world, Deepika worked with her father, who is a businessman.
Deepika recalls that when she reached her home in Delhi, she could not enter the house for almost 3 hours because of the crowd. Her neighbors had come to meet her and wanted to see their favorite TV actress. Many of the women were dressed like Deepika, which was a big surprise for her.
