But he failed to reap dividends from his success.
After doing some unforgettable shows after ‘Kasautii Zindagi Kay’, he seemed to have disappeared completely. Recently rumors about him a comeback on ‘Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha’ were doing the rounds, which were negated by the actor.
According to him he will take up a project only after he is offered something substantial and interesting. He is content with the rave reviews and fan following he received as Anurag Basu. Also the chemistry that he shared with his co star, Shweta Tiwari, set the rumour mills churning.
He is not updated about the current shows on television as he is more of an English films follower rather than the daily soaps. His last outing on the small screen was a few years back in the show ‘Seeta Aur Geeta’, based on the popular movie of the yesteryears.
