Its makers did everything possible to infuse some life into the Sony TV show “Dekha Ek Khwaab” produced by Rose Audio Visuals Pvt Ltd. But it seems all the attempts have proved futile, as the show is all set to bid its final goodbye around end of July.
Boasting of a star cast that consisted of actors like Priyal Gor as Manyata, Abhishek Rawat as Aryan/Aakash and Ashish Kapoor as Udayveer Singh, the serial failed to make serious inroads into the minds of the viewers.
However the actors have still not received any confirmation regarding the closure of the show. They feel these are just speculations floating in the air since last two months. The latest news has it that the show that will be a likely replacement for ‘Dekha Ek Khwaab’ is a production of Sphere Origins, tentatively titled as ‘Humsafar’/’Janam Janam’.
The show will possibly have Himanshu Malhotra playing the lead along with a newcomer female actress who is yet to be finalized. Also there is search going on for a male actor to play the parallel lead. Shaheer Sheikh, who was approached for the same, has refused to be a part of the show for reasons best known to him.

please dont end dekha ek khwab.now it was getting interesting. the new drama seems to be really boring.if ashish kapoor is a part of the new drama then no one will watch it because his chemistry with priyal gor is so awsome that no one can see him with those ordinary girls.sonytv get some brains if there are more manvveer scenes more people will watch it .kick akash out and the drama will gain trps for sure
Y man y u guys wnt to end this show, this show is different frm daily dramas. Y the audience can’t change their mind set n love or c DEK as it is really different n beautiful phases to go ahead. I m not n television lover but this is the only serial that facinates me. I m n big fan of Udayveer . Ooh god can’t imagine DEK coming to n end. Y don’t u change the time slot from 8:30 to 7:30 . This can work. Plz
