Ashwini Kalsekar is roped in to play a pivotal role in Raakesh Paswan’s “Afsar Bitiya” on Zee TV.
Her character will be a total new entrant in the show. The seasoned actress that she is, Ashwini will be enacting the role of Sikka Thakurain, popular as Bahubali of Bhagalpur.
The main lead Mitali Nag, who plays the role of Krishna, is shown as wanting to make the city of Bhagalpur free from corruption. She is on the war path against the people with corrupt practices. The news of her bravery and her boldness will reach the ears of Sikka Thakurain, currently lodged in jail.
She expresses her desire to meet Krishna. The track of Ashwini Kalsekar’s role is added to give the show a boost and take it to a different level. Ashwini’s last television outings were in 2010, in shows like ‘Ganga Kii Dheej’ and ‘Jhansi Ki Rani’.
