There is saying that when you want to go one way, destiny takes you to a different route altogether. Same is the case with television actress Neha Mehta, Anjali Bhabhi of “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah”.
She had all the plans for doing her doctorate in dancing, but God willed otherwise. She was destined to make her career on the small screen. One offer after another came her way, getting her to stick to television.
However she has no regrets whatsoever, since she is very much satisfied with her present occupation. Television has given her enough name, fame and love of her fans and viewers. Recently she was felicitated for reason of her making the Gujarati community proud of her achievements as an actor.
Among all the serials, in which she has acted like ‘Dollar Bahu’ and ‘Bhabhi’, Tarak Mehta is very close to her heart. It makes her proud when people walking on the street recognize her and they talk about how her character has managed to influence them. She feels fulfilled and contented seeing her fruits of labour reaping rich dividends.
