After a long hiatus from small screen, Ashok Saraf once again gives a reason for his fans to rejoice. His last television outing was Ekta Kapoor’s “Hum Paanch” which was almost two decades back. He played the character of Mr Mathur, father to the five girls.
As far as the big screen is concerned he has mostly limited himself to regional Marathi movies, and he had last played a small role in the hit Bollywood movie ‘Singham’.
His absence from the television screen was due to lack of proper roles having substance coming his way. After a very long time, a role has been offered to him that has interested him, in coming back to television screen.
The show that he is doing is on the literature work of the famous Gujarati humorist Ratilal Borisagar. His character is that of Prof. Rajni. Viewers will be awaiting the return of the versatile actor with full of excitement.
