After remaining unsure for quite sometimes, finally the channel has decided to bid its final goodbye to the UTV show “Shubh Vivah”. The show, right from the day of its launch, has not been able sustain the viewers interest.
The story, about a father having five daughters of marriageable age, was of least interest to the viewers. The TRP’s remained all time low. Even killing its main lead, Eijaz Khan, was of no help to add up to the viewers’ numbers.
The show failed on all counts, including Eijaz Khan’s charm. Finally the decision was taken to pull off the show in the best interest of the channel.
However none of the star cast is aware of this latest development, as nothing is communicated to them till now. Until and unless they receive the official confirmation, it is plain rumors as far as they are concerned.
As of now, 29th June 2012 is the date, which will see the last of ‘Shubh Vivah’.
