Currently Shasi-Sumeet Mittal Productions is enjoying its portion of success. Its show “Diya Aur Baati Hum” has been declared as the best daily serial in the eleventh Indian Telly Awards. And whats more? Kanika Maheshwari, who plays the role of Meenakshi in this serial has given a mind blowing performance and thus, received the award for being the best actress (negative role).
A standing ovation is definitely deserved by them. A juicy sequence has been chalked out by the creative heads for gaining further eyeballs. Didn’t get what it is? Well, Meenakshi will be seen in the novel Anarkali Avatar.
Things will unfold very uniquely in this serial. Meenakshi and her husband, played by Gautam Gulati lie to the family and go out for celebrating their anniversary. Here, they will dance to the tunes of the famous hit from ‘Housefull 2’, Anarkali Disco Chali. Meenakshi dresses up as Anarkali and would force Gautam Gulati to dress as Salim.
