With the exception of few names, there is hardly anyone who has met with success after switching over from small screen to silver screen.
After tasting success and making a name for himself on television screen, Karan Singh Grover has failed to make it big on the Bollywood front. After quitting the popular show ‘Dil Mill Gayye’ in 2009, where he played the character of Dr Armaan, which made him a household name, his movie with Vikram Bhatt got scrapped midway leaving him high and dry.
Soon afterwards he had to return back to the show which unfortunately for him also went off air. Last heard about him was that he is shooting in Bangkok with Diana Hayden for a movie called ‘Lorrie’.
Speculations are rife that the film is due for September 2012 release, but if rumors are to be believed, the film is waiting for want of buyers.
As far as fans are concerned, one thing is sure that they want to see him irrespective of on big or small screen.
