She managed to touch many a hearts with her performance as ever willing Gopi bahu in the serial ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’ produced by Sunrise Productions and currently being aired on Star Plus.
But of late, Giaa Manek, has been in the limelight for all the wrong reasons. Recently she was spotted at one of the hookah parlours which media found as a total contrast to her on screen image and created hype about it.
However, Giaa later clarified that she had not done anything unethical or immoral and that the media was unnecessarily blowing things out of proportion. Also there are rumors floating around that she has been approached about being a part of ‘Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa’ an upcoming show on Colors.
It seems that she has given her consent for the show much to the charging of the production house. The production house has issued a warning for her to be prepared for the consequences in case she decides to take up the new show.
It is strongly rumored that she will be shown the door as the channel is already on the hunt for her replacement. Giaa feigned ignorance about the whole issue saying that she does not feel that the channel has any objections of her taking up ‘Jhalak..’.
As of now it is a wait and watch situation with an interesting development likely to take place in near future.
