If a girl wears revealing clothes, does it give people the right to eve tease her and pass comments on her? In a society which claims to be broad-minded in its outlook, this particular incident involving actress Amrapali Gupta has definitely a bad taste.
It so happened that some unruly youngsters living in Amrapali’s building used to pass cheap comments on her while passing by every now and then and upset by this frequent nuisance, Amrapali decided to end this once and for all.
She along with her boyfriend Yash Sinha, launched a formal complaint with the society’s committee and the children’s parents. But instead of them reprimanding their children for the act, the entire blame was put on Amrapali for encouraging the children to pass comments due to her wearing revealing outfits.
Horrified and upset by the justification, Amrapali and Yash decided to launch a formal police complaint. However, as of now things seem to have normalized and cooled down.
