Television actors making it big in films are very rare with a count of very few. One such case is of television actor Anoop Soni, who after his successful stint on small screen could not make a mark for himself on the big screen.
The roles that he is being offered in the films are not up to his satisfaction. He has done roles in films like “Gangaajal”, “Apaharan” and “Dus Kahaniyaan” during the break he had taken from the small screen.
He wanted to give films a try, as he says that he did want to regret his decision of not trying his luck in Bollywood. Though few of the films were successful at the box-office and the roles good, he didn’t quite enjoy doing them.
Currently he is busy doing what he is happy with, i.e. television shows like “Balika Vadhu” and “Kahani Comedy Circus Ki”. He is also the host of a popular crime based show, “Crime Patrol Dastak” which has recently completed 100 episodes.
