Audience makes contributions to their favorite television shows mainly due to TRP ratings. However, viewers are involved more intimately by a new show named ‘Kairi’. Over a period of 5 weeks, 25 promos were aired by colors.
In these promos, the bitter and sweet Taanas of mother-in-law to her Bahu is featured. Immediate feedback was received by the audience including their personal experiences with their in laws. After being impressed with the taunts posted by viewers, the channel has taken the decision of incorporating some of them in their shows.
According to the head of fiction, Prashant Bhatt, Taanas are mainly from the people and by the people. Some of them were in promos but the contributions of viewers were better. Hence, they have taken the decision of using them in the show as well. More than 80 phone calls and over 200 mails were received by the channels. Majority of complaints were applicable worldwide and were common.
