The IPL5 season is just round the corner and the competition for the TV channels to retain their viewership gets tougher and tougher.
In order to retain their viewer’s interest during the IPL drastic changes have been made by the GEC’s. The first serial to face the axe is Ravi Ojha’s “Sasural Genda Phool” starring Ragini Khanna and Jay Soni on “Star Plus” supposed to be wrapped up by 3rd week of April 2012.
That the show is coming to an end was confirmed by Ragini, who got lots of fame, name and recognition from the show and is sad about the fact that the lovely journey was coming to an end.
Replacing the above mentioned show will be J D Majethia’s (Hats Off Productions) latest “Sasuma”, promos of which are expected to hit airways tonight.
“Star Plus” serial “Pratigya” might be the next in line to face the axe as also serial ‘Maryada’ is also being speculated about. However “Maryada” getting an extension is being claimed by its producer Tony Singh.
