Mumbai, March 18 Veteran actor Shashi Kapoor turned 74 Sunday. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who worked with him in films like “Deewar” and “Namak Halaal”, wished him good health and happiness.
“Shashiji’s birthday today…spent some of the most wonderful moments in films we did together…good health and happiness to him,” the 69-year-old Bachchan tweeted.
Shashi Kapoor, who started his acting career as a child artist with the film “Aag”, made a mark with his work in films like “Jab Jab Phool Khile”, “Kanyadaan”, “Pyar Ka Mausam”, “Ek Shriman Ek Shrimati”, “Haseena Maan Jayegi” and “Sharmeelee”.
The ailing actor was last seen in public in a wheelchair at the prayer meet of his brother Shammi Kapoor, who died Aug 14 last year.
