Earlier, romance especially scenes of marriage consummation were exclusive forte of movies but now scene is changing fast. Small screen is getting hotter day by day and much more open than before as well. Television directors and producers and even channels are promoting all the love and romance on TV for good TRPs as well.
At one point of time, the superhit TV serial, ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ was sued by NCW (National Commission for Women) for airing a rape scene. However, now, rapes and sex scenes seem to have become essential parts o the serial track.
In the serial “Tum Dena Saath Mera” on “Life OK” channel, a detailed marriage consummation scene was aired that was titillating enough to raise many eyebrows. Similarly, in Sony TV’s show “Bade Achhe Lagte Hain” too, a sex scene between the leads was shown much to the interest of many viewers!
Actor Sonarika Bhadoria who plays ‘Abhilasha’ in “Tum Dena Saath Mera” says that the rapport between co-actors is important. It seems small screen is getting bigger in many ways!
