Expectations were high when K Venkatesh Productions’, “Meri Maa” first flicked the screen on “Life OK”. The serial which is a remake of a hit Bengali daily soap had promised some great show but unfortunately the result was not a desirable one for the production team.
But Parikshit Sahni, a member of the show believes that things will certainly get better gradually. According to the veteran actor even the Bengali serial took some time to accelerate and he is quite sure of the fact that the daily will soon be a popular one with the audiences.
An optimist actor like him has also added the fact that since the channel had been re-launched; the show will pick up speed once the channel gets going well. Drawing a comparison he said that since the Bengali show gained a huge TRP after the entry of the protagonist, it was just a matter of time for the Hindi version as here the protagonist has already been introduced.
He also feels that it is a tough task at hand as there are some shows at the 9 pm slot that has some fantastic viewership and it will be tough to pull away the viewers to a new show.
Although the members are not that impressed with the show, the series is getting on really good. Sahni claims that the response he has got for the show is tremendous and he is quite positive about the show scaling heights of success very soon as they have every potential to make it big!
