Los Angeles, March 8 Actor David Arquette has reportedly split from his girlfriend due to long distance relationship woes.
The “Scream 4″ star had been dating reporter Christina McLarty since last summer. But the couple have called it quits, reports contactmusic.com.
“Sadly I’m single again. A long distance relationship proved to be too difficult,” the 40-year-old Arquette posted on Twitter.
While Arquette lives in Los Angeles, his lady love is based in New York for her job.
Arquette split from his wife Courteney Cox in October 2010 and although the break-up started off as a trial separation, the actor has accepted there is not a romantic future for the pair any more.
