Akshay Anand in Channel V’s ‘Suvreen Guggal’

Small screen actor Akshay Anand has created quite a buzz with the news that he will be starring on silver screen in KJo’s much talked about forthcoming film “Student of The Year”.

Apart from this, we got to know through our sources that the actor will be seen on small screen in channel [V]’s upcoming serial titled “Suvreen Guggal”.

The makers of this show had approached the actor to play a role in the daily and for which the actor has apparently given a nod. The promos of this show on “channel [V]” have been creating the buzz around and the show is all set to go on air from March 19, 2012.

Akshay will essay the character of Suvreen Guggal’s father in the show. His character will be portrayed as a typical strict and loud Punjabi father. The actor said that he is excited having bagged a role in the serial and is waiting for the show to go on air.
