We reported earlier about ace producer Shashi-Sumeet Mittal coming up with their next offering on “Colors” channel. Their show has finally got a name and is titled as “Kairi”. The actor who will be playing the male lead in the serial is veteran Jay Bhanushali.
And now the latest news we got through our sources related to the serial is that the makers have finalized the female lead of the show as well. Veteran actress Preeti Chaudhary who was spotted in serial “Woh Rehne Waali Mehhlon Ki” was approached for the role. And the actress has apparently given a nod for the role. Preeti is these days seen in “Colors” channel show “Hawan” playing the role of a daughter to Baapji.
Preeti will be starring opposite male lead Jay Bhanushali. Apart from the main leads of the show, other actors who have been roped in are Leena Jumani and Prachee Pathak.
The promos of the show are expected to go on air soon.
