The “MTV Roadies” Kolkata audition is something to watch out for. The audition like all others was a colourful one, however, interspersed with the usual dose of emotional quotient.
Neetu, a dancing prodigy swept the judges of their feet with her excellent expertise of Assamese dance. She had almost been selected when, to everybody’s dismay, it was discovered that she didn’t have a passport, a prerequisite to get selected in “Roadies”.
The judges were set for another surprise when they encountered Manali, a vivacious, young girl who remained cool and gleeful in the face of every task that she was assigned. The judges then came up with a novel idea to test her nerves and asked her to unabashedly let go a stream of abuses.
The Kolkata audition remained high on entertainment quotient with many other participants contributing with their own unique flavor of merriments and heartbreaks.
