Amongst the many Biharis who will be felicitated in Global Meet 2012 of Pravasi Biharis, well-known film director and screen writer Piyush Jha will also be felicitated.
Piyush Jha who has been in the film industry for more than 15 years will return to his hometown Bihar almost after 25 years. His return to his hometown will be marked not only by his felicitation but Jha plans to make it the most memorable by announcing a film that he will make. The political action thriller he plans to announce will have local Bihari artists. Apart from the announcement and felicitation, Jha also will be seen in a serious discussion with panel of Doordarshan.
Global Meet 2012 of Pravasi Bihar is a summit, celebrating 100 years of Bihar and calls Biharis from all walks of life and from all corner of the world to attend the meet. The summit which was first held in 2007 was inaugurated by Former President and scientists of India Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.
The summit is now in its second year and will be held in Patna from February 17th to 19th. . The other well-known personalities who are likely to attend the summit are Actor Shatrughan Sinha, Actor Shekhar Suman,Director Prakash Jha,Actor Manoj Bajpai etc. Many other Biharis who have been migrated to other territories around the world and have achieved success in their fields will also be attending the meet.
Soon after the meet Jha also plans to publish his 3 novels.
