Reality TV shows, as the common perception goes, is seen to draw on sensationalism to rake in TRPs, however, this one comes with a real surprise. The recent episode of “DID” promoted the cause of a species threatened with extinction.
Master Remo D’Souza showcased a dance number dedicated to save the white tiger, one of the most endangered species. The dance act performed by Vaibhav Ghuge from Vadodara and Mohena Kumari Singh from Rewa was true to the message it wanted to get across.
The two performers brilliantly expressed the majesty of the ferocious animal through their beastly moves, snarls and growls, however, adding an emotional touch to it. Their dance number effectively captured the heart rending moment when the royal animal lost its life. The two were successful in drawing people’s sympathy for the cause when they showed how alike animals were to humans in expressing love for each other and grieving over the death of one of its kind.
Master Remo was not the only one affected by the plight of the royal beast, “Grandmaster” Mithun Da too happens to be a great animal lover.
