Abhaas Mehta says that he became an actor by chance

Television actor Abhaas Mehta who had created waves with his role in the daily soap “Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon” shot to fame with his character in the show. Abhaas said that he is a kind of a person who was more interested in sports and games when he was in school but later the cards had something else in store for him. He said that things gradually changed in his life after he had joined the Law College.

Abhaas continued saying that he had developed an interest towards acting and theater while he was studying law. He said that the reason for this was that his college was near the Film and Television Institute of India and so it got him into conversation with the students from that institute.

Furthermore, Abhaas said that he had developed an interest for acting under the influence of some the students from the Television Institute who later became his friends. Later, the actor had even joined veteran actor Anupam Kher’s acting school which helped him in grooming his acting abilities.

you’re soooo amazing that i love to hate you in the series!! those sending any actor hate mail based on their negative roles are soooo IMMATURE, naive and pretty much dumb in realizing that it’s called ACTING. they’re not genuinely like that. LOL. educate yourselves.
