Surbhi Mehta who proved her acting caliber in the super hit movie ‘Chak De India’ will soon be seen in Ranjan Shahi’s new show on “Life OK” channel, “Amrit Manthan”. Shahi of “Director’s Cut” already has popular shows like “Havan” and “Kuch Toh Log Kahenge” to his credit. Surbhi will play a significant role in the serial.
Coming to the new show, Amrit Manthan’s story revolves around family and relationships. The character that Surbhi will essay, could not get her big expectations ambitions fulfilled but now wants to do the same through her niece. This Punjabi character will definitely be something to watch out for!
Producer Shahi confirmed that Surbhi has been roped in for sure and her character will add a different flavor to the serial. He also said that shooting is going on but airing date has not been finalized yet.
