Pakistani pop singer Atif Aslam is all set to make his debut in Indian television with a show on Sahara One. The show is titled as “Sur-Kshetra”.
The show had to go on air this week but due to some technical problems the launching date of the show has been pushed forward by a few days. Now the show might be aired in the first week of next month.
Singer Atif Aslam said that he isn’t upset about the delay date of the show as he said that he would make use of this time and groom his team, telling them to focus on their basics. He further said that his personal experience in the singing industry has taught him that training is not necessary.
Atif also said that one just needs to master his/her basic ragas which will help in making waves with any type of song you sing.
The singer said that he plans to groom his team by just telling them to pay focus on their basic ragas. Atif said that he has pulled out his team of 6 contestants from parts of Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad.
The concept of the show is that Pop singer Atif’s team of 6 contestants will be competing with the other team of 6 contestants formed by singer-composer Himesh Reshammiya.
We hope that the show comes with its full package of talented singers.
