“Dance India Dance” is a dance reality show which has given a global platform to many to come upfront and showcase their dance talent. And, this time with “DID Season 3″, Chhotu Lohar made it to headlines with his passion for dancing.
Chhotu Lohar from Bhubaneshwar is a 23 year old mine worker who earns his living by breaking stones. This young blood has made it to the top 18 in the auditions of the dance reality show- “DID season 3″.
Chhotu first saw an episode of “DID” at one of his friend’s place and was glued to the show. Chhotu even had started learning Hip Hop dance by watching it over the internet and television. Giving a life to his dreams, he was encouraged by his friends and family to give an audition for “DID 2″. When he first appeared for “DID 2″ auditions, he could only make it to the top 36 but failed to make it to the final 18.
Chhotu Lohar returned home disappointed but he still kept his passion for dance alive and continued to learn various dance forms. He had learnt krumping, locking, popping and Bollywood style of dancing and kept himself on toes. After a lot of practice, this year again Chhotu had appeared for the auditions and finally with his never ending passion for dance and his hardwork, he has made it to the top 18.
