New Delhi, Aug 28 (IANS) Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar has congratulated social activist Anna Hazare and the youth of the country on the success of their anti-corruption movement and making the impossible possible.
“Anna Hazare’s self-confidence, determination and the support of the people of the country and youth have proved that if we want, we Indians can turn impossible into possible. I salute Annaji. Jai Hind,” Lata wrote on microblogging site Twitter.
Hazare began his fast Aug 16 and broke it Sunday morning after parliament Saturday agreed to three key demands of his civil society group to battle corruption.
