The show is called “Ke Bani Crorepati” and comes on Mahua TV.
A graduate from Gorakhpur University, Rajesh, 34, works as finance manager in a company in Ahmedabad. Rajesh is the first person to win a huge prize money on a regional channel.
Rajesh was accompanied by his mother and aunt on the show, and they broke into tears when he reached the Rs.1 crore mark.
Rajesh plans to spend the money to provide good education to his children.
He also plans to build his house and his aunt’s, and hopes to open a counselling institute to help the young decide their right career.
Shatrughan said: “This proves that if people from small towns are given opportunities, they can prove their merit. I congratulate him for the win. He has become an example for all the people in rural India.”
The episode will be aired Wednesday on Mahua TV.
